Short rows are padded with spaces. Unsupported characters are rejected.

Commission and calibrate

Start with one completed 38-position mechanism on MCP 0x20 slot 0. The old 37-position drum cannot use this firmware. Full flight frames require all 14 active.

730 is a starting estimate; the new drum needs physical calibration. Saving changes starts homing.
